Platts to discontinue daily Nord Pool Gas third-party data

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has decided to discontinue daily Nord Pool Gas third-party data effective May 15.

The symbols GNPTD00 (Nord Pool Gas DA Eur/MWh) and GNPTM00 (Nord Pool Gas 1Mo Eur/MWh) represent natural gas Day-ahead and Month-ahead EEX daily settlement prices for Danish Exchange Transfer Facility.

Platts first proposed the discontinuation in a note published April 3 and available here:
