About Commodity Insights
02 May 2022 | 15:05 UTC
S&P Global Commodity Insights has updated some Platts Global Alert pages to remove non-databased converted global fuel oil values, effective May 2, 2022.
The changes affect real-time fixed pages for Platts Global Alert and Platts Refined Products Alert pages 30 and 38.
The pages listed global fuel oil assessments, assessed in a mix of barrels and metric tons. The pages also showed the conversion rate and converted the assessments into either barrels or metric tons. These updates have removed converted prices, which appear only on the fixed page and are not databased.
The conversion rates remain published on the fixed pages. Some prices, which are databased in both barrels and metric tons, will continue to have both prices listed on the pages.
