SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes to discontinue CIF propane coaster assessment

S&P Global Platts proposes to discontinue its Northwest Europe Propane CIF 1,000-3,000 mt coaster assessment with effect from July 2, 2018.

Platts proposes to discontinue this assessment due to a lack of observable spot trading on a CIF basis, as prevailing coaster activity is primarily done on an FOB basis.

The discontinuation would impact the daily assessment that appears in the LPGaswire under the code PMAAZ00 and on Platts Global Alert page 1775.

Platts will continue to assess the Propane FOB NWE Seagoing market under the code PMABB00.
