Following industry feedback, Platts has decided not to launch an assessment for US Gulf Coast ultra low sulfur diesel with renewable diesel content at this time. Platts will continue to monitor market conditions. On March 18, Platts requested feedback on Platts regarding the possible introduction of a US Gulf Coast ULSD assessment reflecting ULSD that may contain renewable diesel, up to a maximum of 5%, at the Colonial Pipeline's injection point at Pasadena, Texas. With the exception of the US West Coast, Platts' existing US diesel assessments do not reflect diesel with blends of renewable diesel (hydrotreated diesel), biodiesel or other non-hydrocarbon fuels.
