SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to launch Premium LV HCC Rotterdam net forward price series

Platts is to start publishing a value for Australian Premium Low Vol HCC on a net forward Rotterdam basis, effective May 3, 2016, following a period of industry feedback.

The published value is a sum of the daily Platts Hard Coking Coal (Premium Low Vol) FOB Australia assessment (PLVHA00) and the Platts Capesize freight assessment for metallurgical coal cargoes of 160,000 mt from Hay Point to Rotterdam (CDARN00).

The assessment will be published in Platts Metals Alert, Platts SBB-Steel Market Daily, and Coal Trader International.

The daily prices including a monthly average will be available in Platts Markets Data.
