Platts Latin America steel publishing schedule for May 1

Please note that the S&P Global Platts Sao Paulo and Mexico City offices will be closed Friday, May 1, 2020, in observance of the Labor Day national holiday.

Platts will not publish weekly price assessments or market commentaries for Brazilian export-oriented pig iron and slab, domestic, flat and long steel assessments or the Mexican domestic rebar on that day.

Platts will also not publish the monthly assessments and commentaries for Brazil export and Mexico domestic flat steels on that day, along with the Mexican monthly rebar index and the Argentinian monthly rebar.

The Platts weekly steel assessments for Latin America will be published Thursday, April 30, rather than on Friday, as would be typical due to the national holiday.

The Platts monthly steel assessments for Latin America will be published Monday, May 4.

Normal publishing will resume Monday, May 4.
