Following an extended period of customer feedback, Platts intends to revamp the Asia Pacific/Arab Gulf Marketscan.
The revamped publication will be rolled out on on July 2, 2012.
The redesigned newsletter will bring substantial enhancements to the way that price assessment data and commentaries are presented in APAGScan.
In the revamp, Platts will show the daily change for assessments, add market data codes alongside all assessments, and provide information about which pages on Platts Global Alert contain data found in APAGScan for easy cross-referencing.
Platts will also provide midpoints for all assessments in the newsletter -- a feature already found on real-time alert serviced and in the Platts price database. Platts will also introduce a new section for biofuels and gasoline component assessments around the region.
A mock-up of the revamped publication can be found at http://plts.co/APAG12.
Please send comments and questions to PGA@platts.com by June 10.
