Following a new tariff structure for tonnage dues at Ras Tanura, Juaymah and Ras Al Khafji ports, the Worldscale Association has lowered the flat rate for these ports and added a Saudi Arabia Fixed Rate Differential for these ports.
As a result, S&P Global Platts will update the Worldscale flat basis rate used to calculate FOB Arab Gulf assessments for naphtha, gasoil and jet/kerosene from May 2, 2017.
According to Worldscale circular no. 14/2017, the amendments are effective for all voyages on which loading is commenced on or after May 1, 2017.
The new Worldscale flat basis rate used to calculate FOB Arab Gulf naphtha assessments will be $17.10/mt, from $17.13/mt. The new Worldscale flat basis rate used to calculate FOB Arab Gulf gasoil and jet/kerosene assessments will be $8.80/mt, from $8.82/mt.
