S&P Global Platts offices in Singapore and China will be closed on Friday May 1, 2020, for the Labour Day holiday, and there will be no iron ore, coking coal, steel, alumina, and other nonferrous metals assessments published from Singapore and China on that day.
All China domestic and FOB China steel and scrap assessments will also not be published from May 2-5, as China's financial markets will be closed for extended Labour Day holidays during that period.
Additionally, there will be no CIF Japan spot and quarterly aluminum assessments published on April 29, 2020, and May 4-6, 2020, due to Japan national holidays, as well as on May 8, 2020, as the UK and London Metal Exchange will be closed for a bank holiday.
Normal Singapore publishing schedules will resume on Monday, May 4, 2020. Normal China publishing schedules will resume on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. The Japanese aluminum premium assessments will resume on April 30, 2020, and then on May 7, 2020.
Weekly assessments that fall on these days will be published the day before.
