Platts proposes to discontinue its fuel oil Cross Mediterranean 27.5kt dirty tanker freight assessment, reflecting the fact that with newer vessels, the majority of traffic on this route is now 30kt.
These rates are published in the Platts dirty Tankerwire and on Platts Global Alert page 946.
Platts proposes to discontinue this assessment on November 1, 2012.
