Platts confirms changes to ammonia freight assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will make changes to its ammonia freight assessments, effective May 20, 2024.

Platts will increase the publishing cadence of its ammonia freight assessments from weekly to daily (Monday-Friday).

Platts will also launch central single point freight assessments for each of the ammonia freight routes currently covered, with standardized high and low ranges $1/mt above (high) and below (low) the of the central assessment.

The assessments will appear in the Ammonia Market Report and will be available via Platts Connect.
