SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to publish differential for Bakken assessment vs. WTI CMA

Platts will publish a price differential vs. WTI CMA to its assessment for Bakken crude assessed near the wellhead in the Williston Basin effective May 15, 2015. The new assessment reflects the way Bakken crude trades in the market, where more than 95% of trades occur against the calendar-month average of NYMEX light sweet crude (WTI CMA) during the month of delivery. Platts will continue to publish the existing Bakken flat price assessment. The crude's assessment methodology and specifications will not change. The new assessment appears on Platts Global Alert Page 214 and 260, while the monthly average appears on Platts Global Alert Page 215 and commentary for the market appears on Platts Global Alert page 295. \ The assessment and commentary also appear in the Crude Oil Marketwire, North American Crude and Products Scan, and Oilgram Price Report.
