Subscriber note: Platts extends industry consultation on iron ore lump

Following Platts invitation for industry feedback on its proposal to publish a weekly iron ore lump premium spot price assessment, Platts has received new information on lump physical properties and the trade practice of combining lump with fines in single shipments that warrant further market consultation. In view of the time needed to seek additional views from industry, initial publication of the assessment has been scheduled for May 8, 2013.
