S&P Global Platts has discontinued third-party prices for Certified Emission Reduction (CER) price data effective April 22, 2021, and has kept Nasdaq EU Allowance Unit (EUA) following market feedback and consultation.
Platts originally published the proposal on January 20, 2021 in a subscriber note that can be found here: https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/012021-platts-proposes-to-discontinue-third-party-cer-nasdaq-eua-price-data.
Platts decided to discontinue CERs in response to the change in market conditions and discontinuation of this data from a third party provider.
Codes discontinued on April 22:
