Platts to suspend duplicate European swaps data

As part of ongoing work to maintain and enhance transparency of Platts market data assessments, Platts proposes to relocate certain European crude oil, naphtha and LPG swaps assessments data from market data categories RI (International Crudes), EB (European refined products) and LI (International LPG) to the DR (European Derivatives) category.

The relocation would be with effect from November 1, 2012.

To reduce duplication of data in Platts databases, Platts proposes to suspend the mirrored DR codes found there currently with effect from December 1.

The codes to be moved in the database, and the mirror codes which will ultimately be suspended, are listed in the table below.
