Platts to suspend duplicate Asia swaps data

As part of ongoing work to maintain and enhance transparency of Platts market data assessments, Platts will change the description of database codes for Asia swap assessments in market data categories CS (Singapore refined products), CX (Singapore fuel oil) and CJ (Japan refined products) with immediate effect, to match clarified data descriptions found in the market data category DA (Asian Derivatives).

To reduce duplication of data in Platts databases, Platts proposes to relocate the codes from CS, CX and CJ to the DA category with effect from November 1, and suspend the mirror DA codes found there currently.

Platts proposes to suspend these codes with effect from December 1. The assessments will continue to be found in market data category DA.

The codes to be moved in the database and the codes which will ultimately be suspended are listed in the table below.
