CORRECTION

An April 17 article titled "Surging data center, EV power demand challenges grids over broad areas: experts" from a panel discussion at the S&P Global Commodity Insights' Global Power Markets Conference incorrectly described the geographic area for which leased data center power demand more than doubled since 2018 to 42 GW by 2023. In fact, that statistic and the expectation for load to grow to 82 GW by 2028 refer to global leased data center power demand.
