Platts will discontinue several phosphate assessments July 3

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue several phosphate FOB Weekly price assessments, effective July 3, 2025.

The decision reflects diminishing trade volumes done on an FOB basis with a sustained shift toward delivered incoterms on a cost and freight (CFR) basis. It follows a proposal published here (opens in a new tab)on March 26, 2025.

The discontinuations apply to the following weekly assessments:

• Diammonium Phosphate FOB Tunisia $/mt Weekly (FDPBD04)
• Diammonium Phosphate FOB Lithuania $/mt Weekly (FDPBG04)
• Diammonium Phosphate FOB Baltic $/mt Weekly (FDPBH04)
• Granular Triple Superphosphate Bulk FOB Bulgaria $/mt Weekly (FGTSA04)
• Granular Triple Superphosphate Bulk FOB Tunisia $/mt Weekly (FGTSC04)
• Granular Triple Superphosphate Bulk FOB Lebanon $/mt Weekly (FGTSD04)
• Monoammonium Phosphate Bulk FOB Baltic $/mt Weekly (FMAPA04)

The assessments appear in Platts Connect, the Phosphate Market Report, the World Fertilizer Review, and the Platts price database. The last day for publication for these assessments will be June 26, 2025.
