Platts proposes to discontinue several phosphate assessments July 1

HIGHLIGHTS

N/A

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to discontinue several phosphate FOB ($/mt) weekly price assessments, effective July 1, 2025.

The proposal for discontinuation of each assessment is based on one or more of the following reasons:

  • Diminishing trade volumes done on an FOB basis with a sustained shift toward delivered incoterms on a CFR basis
  • Reduced liquidity of trade volumes
  • Low liquidity of trade volumes

The discontinuations proposed apply to the following weekly assessments:

  • Diammonium Phosphate FOB Tunisia $/mt Weekly (FDPBD04)
  • Diammonium Phosphate FOB Lithuania $/mt Weekly (FDPBG04)
  • Diammonium Phosphate FOB Baltic $/mt Weekly (FDPBH04)
  • Granular Triple Superphosphate Bulk FOB Bulgaria $/mt Weekly (FGTSA04)
  • Granular Triple Superphosphate Bulk FOB Tunisia $/mt Weekly (FGTSC04)
  • Granular Triple Superphosphate Bulk FOB Lebanon $/mt Weekly (FGTSD04)
  • Monoammonium Phosphate Bulk FOB Baltic $/mt Weekly (FMAPA04)

The assessments appear in Platts Connect, the Phosphate Market Report, the World Fertilizer and the Platts price database.
