Platts to discontinue weekly UAN FOB Black Sea assessment, effective June 30

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue its urea ammonium nitrate FOB Black Sea assessment, effective June 30.

The decision to discontinue this assessment reflects a lack of FOB trade out of the Black Sea, with sales of Russian UAN largely concluded on a CFR basis. UAN is being delivered on a CFR basis or transported by producers to Europe and the Americas for distribution.

Platts already publishes relevant CFR assessments for the specified product.

The assessment appears under the symbol FUANA04 in the Nitrogen Market Report and the Platts price database on Platts Connect.
