Platts proposes discontinuation of weekly UAN FOB Black Sea assessment June 30

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to discontinue its FOB Black Sea urea ammonium nitrate assessment effective June 30.

The proposal to discontinue this assessment reflects the lack of actual FOB trade out of the Black Sea, with sales of Russian UAN largely concluded on a CFR basis. UAN is being delivered on a CFR basis or transported by producers to Europe and the Americas for distribution. Platts also publishes pertinent CFR assessments for the specified product.

The assessment, FOB Black Sea UAN (FUANA04), is currently published in the Nitrogen Market Report PDF and is available via Platts Connect.
