SUBSCRIBER NOTE UPDATE: Platts to discontinue some dry freight Panamax assessments

(Adds cargo size codes, and daily publication lists) Following industry consultation, S&P Global Platts will discontinue a range of Panamax dry bulk freight assessments for bauxite, iron ore, coal and grains routes, originating in the Atlantic basin and the Black Sea, effective July 1, 2019.

The decision follows an extensive period of illiquid spot trading on these routes.

Under this decision, Platts will discontinue the following assessments:
