Following extensive market research S&P Global Platts will proceed to launch the following new freight assessments for liquid petrochemical products, effective July 1, 2019. The launch date will be postponed from an earlier launch date proposed for May 1.
The assessments will be launched based on market feedback and observation of relevant shipping routes and cargo sizes.

The following existing assessments will be changed from a cargo size range of 5,000-12,000 mt to a cargo size range of 10,000-12,000 mt, based on market feedback indicating that larger cargo sizes are more common on these routes. The change will be effective on July 1, 2019.
