S&P Global Platts will proceed to change the frequency of three of its aromatics freight assessment pages from daily to weekly, effective July 1, 2019. The launch date will be postponed from an earlier launch date proposed for May 1.
The daily assessments published on Spot freight to/from Southeast Asia (PCA642), Spot freight from Middle East (PCA643) and Spot freight from India (PCA644) would be changed to a weekly frequency to be published on Fridays.
The change in publication frequency is being done based on market feedback and observation that weekly assessments would better reflect the changes in the affected freight rates.
