SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts begins publishing WAF Index differential, outright price assessments

Following the development of contracts for difference brokered and cleared markets referencing the S&P Global Platts assessments of Nigeria's Bonny Light, Qua Iboe, Forcados and Bonga crude oil, Platts is now publishing a "West Africa Index" (WAF Index) from April 15, 2019.

This decision follows on from a proposal published March 13 available here: https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/031319-pl atts-proposes-waf-index-differential-and-outright-price-assessments

This assessment will be published as both an outright price and as a differential to the 30-60 day forward Dated Brent strip and will be calculated as an average of the below assessments.
