Following feedback from market participants, Platts is planning to change the assessment time frame for its US Gulf Coast residual fuel oil assessments to 7-15 days from date of publication from 5-13 days.
The change would affect all US Gulf Coast residual fuel assessments, including slurry, 1%S, 3%S and RMG 380.
The change will take effect on June 1, 2011.
