S&P Global Platts is proposing to rename its FD NWE and FD Britain recycled-PET spot price assessments effective May 31, 2019, in order to better differentiate hot-wash flake assessments from newly launched food grade pellet assessments.

The assessments would continue to be published on the Platts real-time Petrochemical Alert page PCA 506 and in the weekly Polymerscan on a Wednesday.
