SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes assessing FOB USGC styrene in $/mt

S&P Global Platts proposes to launch daily FOB US Gulf Coast styrene monomer assessments for month one and month two in $/mt, effective June 3, 2019.

The new assessments would take into consideration price information gathered until 4:00 pm Central Time every day. The methodology would follow the currently-published methodology for Platts US Gulf Coast styrene monomer assessments published in cents/lb.

The assessments would appear in the Platts price database, in Polymerscan, in Europe and Americas Petrochemicalscan and on Platts Petrochemical Alert pages PCA0448, PCA0435, PCA0541, PCA0774 and PCA0434.

Platts welcomes all feedback and questions on the proposed assessments through May 3, 2019.
