SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts opens consultation on PET specs

S&P Global Platts is opening a consultation on the specifications for FD NWE and FD UK virgin PET and recycled PET assessments, with a view to further refine them in line with standard industry practice.

Platts invites feedback on the following specifications in its European petrochemicals methodology guide:

Assessment IV value Other specs Bottle-grade virgin PET 0.7-0.86 B* neutral Film-grade virgin PET 0.7-0.86 B* neutral, APET sheet Flake recycled PET 0.84 Colorless hot-wash flake with an average 10% of post-consumer recycle content
