Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will not publish any metals assessments April 18, 2025, in observance of the Good Friday holiday, and no metals publications will be published worldwide.
US and Brazil weekly metals assessments typically published on Friday will be published a day earlier, April 17.
Additionally, Platts will not publish any Mexican metals assessments April 17, in observance of Maundy Thursday. Mexican weekly assessments will be published April 16. All other Americas metals assessments will be published as normal April 17 with a normal market close.
Only Asia and EMEA metals assessments will be published with an early market close of 12:30 pm local time.
On April 21, Sao Paulo offices will be closed in observance of the Easter Monday holiday.
Daily Brazilian ferrous scrap prices will not be published, and there will be no Latin American lithium assessments April 21. Weekly Brazilian metals prices typically published on Mondays will be published April 22.
Since the London Metal Exchange is closed April 21, there will be no US aluminum Midwest transaction premium published that day. Platts daily CIF North America calculated cathode active material assessments, which follow a Singapore holiday schedule, will be published April 21.
There will be no LME Close Edition of Metals Daily April 21. Steel Business Briefing and Steel Markets Daily will be published without Brazil assessments on April 21, and Metals Daily will be published without Latin American lithium assessments that day.
Normal publishing schedules will resume April 22.
