S&P Global Platts has amended its database for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation's monthly NGL official selling prices (OSPs), with effect from April 5, to align the whole data series to three decimal places.
Platts has rounded off some of the price points in the affected data series to three decimal places, from four decimal places previously, to bring it in alignment with the rest of the data series.
This affects some of NNPC's Escravos Condensate, Escravos LPG Mix and Pentane Plus OSPs over the period of May 2015 to February 2021. This data was first backfilled in the Platts price database on April 1, 2021.
The affected prices are:
Price Code
Escravos Condensate FOB Nigeria OSP AECRA00
Escravos Condensate FOB Nigeria OSP Differential AECRB00
Escravos LPG Mix FOB Nigeria OSP AESVA00
Pentane Plus FOB Nigeria OSP APENA00
Pentane Plus FOB Nigeria OSP Differential APENB00
These prices appear on Platts Petrochemical Alert page 1790, in LPGaswire and in the Platts price database under the codes above.
