Platts would like to remind subscribers that there will be no assessments for North Sea, Urals, Mediterranean, West African and Canadian East Coast crudes on Friday, April 10 and Monday, April 13, 2009.
Previously, these crudes were assessed out of the Platts New York office on UK holidays that are not observed in the Americas, such as Easter Monday and Boxing Day but, as of January 1, 2009, the EMEA crude assessments schedule follows the UK holiday calendar.
The Canadian East Coast crudes -- White Rose, Hibernia and Terra Nova -- will not be assessed because of their pricing ties to the Dated Brent/BFOE benchmark. Similarly, Maya and Isthmus assessments for Europe and Maya, Isthmus, and Olmeca assessments for the US will not be published. As well, Platts will not publish US domestic crudes London close and Asia-Pacific crude and condensates London MOC.
Platts will publish Asian Dated Brent and Americas Dated Brent on Monday, April 13, 2009.
