Platts updates mt-lb conversion for some Americas chemical assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has updated its metric ton to pound unit of measure conversion for certain Americas polymer assessments and cracker margins, effective April 3, 2023.

The update is part of ongoing updates to ensure the most accurate conversion rates.

The update affects the following codes, which now use a 2204.62 conversion rate:

EPMDM00 - Ethane/Propane Mix Cracker Margin

LNMDM00 - Light Naphtha Cracker Margin

ECMDM00 - Ethane Cracker Margin

PCMDM00 - Propane Cracker Margin

NBMDM00 - N-Butane Cracker Margin

AASJL00 - PP Fiber US Domestic Dlvd Railcar Weekly

AASIZ00 - LLDPE Butene US Domestic Dlvd Railcar Weekly
