S&P Global Platts on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, launched weekly domestic China assessments for polyester yarn and fiber grades, partially oriented yarn (POY), draw textured yarn (DTY), fully drawn yarn (FDY) and polyester staple fiber (PSF), following market feedback and rapid growth in China domestic trade activity.
The new assessments will reflect the delivery of 10-100mt on an ex-tank east China (Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian) basis, 0-10 days forward from the date of publication on an at-site cash payment basis, and will be based on the following quality specification:
POY150D/48F, white and semi-dull DTY150D/48F, white and semi-dull FDY150D/96F, white and semi-dull PSF 1.4D*38mm, white, semi-dull, and direct-spun
The weekly assessments take into consideration the latest information sourced from the market up to the close of the assessment window at 4:30 pm Singapore time on Wednesday.
