Platts proposes to change publication day for EU sugar price assessments

Platts, a division of S&P Global Commodity Insights proposes changing the publication day for the weekly EU sugar price assessments to Thursday from Friday, effective June 27.

Platts proposes to move the weekly EXW Northwest Europe (SGAEG04), UK delivered (SGAEF04) and North Italy delivered (SGAEL04) sugar assessments to a Thursday market on close, rather than Friday, in line with Platts global sugar prices.

Under the proposal, the last Friday publication for these assessments would be June 21, before moving to a Thursday publication from June 27.
