Platts is changing its methodology for 45% efficiency German clean dark spreads effective April 1, 2019.
From this date the emissions intensity factor used in the formula will be changed to 0.757.
The affected codes are:
Month ahead CDGUM00 Month ahead +1 CDGUM27 Quarter ahead CDGUQ00 Quarter ahead + 1 CDGUQ27 Year ahead CDGUY00 Year ahead + 1 CDGUY27 Year ahead + 2 CDGUY28
The German clean dark spreads are published in European Power Daily and Coal Trader International.
