SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts decides to publish Premium LV HCC Rotterdam net forward

Platts has decided to start publishing a value for Australian Premium Low Vol HCC on a net forward Rotterdam basis from May 3, 2016.

This follows a subscriber note on this subject on March 4, 2016, and a period of industry feedback.

The published value will be a sum of the daily Platts Hard Coking Coal (Premium Low Vol) FOB Australia assessment (PLVHA00) and the Platts Capesize freight assessment for metallurgical coal cargoes of 160,000 mt from Hay Point to Rotterdam (CDARN00).

The assessment will be published in Platts Metals Alert and Platts SBB-Steel Market Daily.

The daily prices including a monthly average will be available in Platts Markets Data.
