SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts discontinues CFR Japan SM assessment from Apr 1

Platts has discontinued the weekly spot assessment for styrene monomer basis CFR Japan with effect from April 1, 2014. The proposal to discontinue the assessment was first announced on February 5, 2013, and reflects changing trading patterns in the Asian styrene monomer market. This assessment was published on Platts Petrochemicals Alert page 340, in the Asian Petrochemicalscan and in the Platts database under the code PHABZ00.
