USAC winter high-RVP gasoline assessments

Effective April 1, Platts plans to halt publishing for the US Atlantic Coast (basis New York Harbor) winter high-RVP (15.0) gasoline assessments for conventional 87 unleaded gasoline, premium 93 unleaded gasoline, CBOB and premium CBOB for Buckeye Pipeline, barges and cargoes.

From April 1, only low-RVP summer assessments for these grades will be published, and these will be the main (front-line) assessments, with no supplemental assessments for these grades.

However, winter high-RVP assessments for RBOB and premium RBOB for Buckeye Pipeline, barges and cargoes will continue until April 15. The low-RVP supplemental assessments for RBOB and Premium RBOB will become main (front-line) assessments from April 16.

The low-RVP supplemental assessments being published currently include 87-octane and 93-octane conventional gasolines with 9.0 RVP, CBOB and Premium CBOB with 9.0 RVP (after ethanol), RBOB and Premium RBOB with 6.6 RVP (pre-ethanol), and for the Laurel Pipeline 9.0 RVP conventional grades for all of Pennsylvania except for Pittsburgh.
