S&P Global Platts clarifies that the paraxylene derivatives assessment reflects the value of both uncleared and cleared instruments.
Transactions for PX derivatives reported during the Platts Market on Close assessment process are bilateral trades between counterparties.
Any company submitting a bid or offer that can only be traded on a cleared basis should state as such in their bid or offer at the time of submitting for publication.
Platts launched PX derivatives assessments on Nov. 2, 2020: http://plts.co/OAaG30rC9Tu
