Please note that The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS Sempra Commodities) will be replaced by J.P. Morgan Ventures Energy Corporation as its principal commodity trading subsidiary for the Middle East Platts Dubai and Oman partials markets effective April 1, 2011.
After the transfer, RBS Sempra will appear in Platts' market-on-close assessment processes for the crude partials market as "JP Morgan Ventures Energy Corporation."
RBS Sempra has indicated that it will still continue to use its RBS Sempra entity for other markets it is active in, such as the Platts Asia naphtha market.
All companies trading with RBS Sempra are advised to take necessary steps to ensure trading continuity.
Please send questions or comments to asia_crude@platts.com and pricegroup@platts.com.
