Per the Platts Holiday Schedule (HolidayHome.aspx), Platts will not publish North American daily electricity assessments Friday, April 2, 2010, due to the Good Friday holiday. In addition, Megawatt Daily and Energy Trader will not be published Friday, April 2.
For the West, which is trading on an altered schedule this week to accommodate a Friday holiday, Thursday trading will be for Sunday and Monday delivery. For the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, trading Thursday will be for delivery Friday through Monday. Assessments based on that trading will be published via Platts? Electricity Alert and Platts? dispatch Thursday, April 1, and in the April 5 issues of Megawatt Daily and Energy Trader.
For electricity markets outside of the West and ERCOT, trading Thursday will follow a normal pattern, and those prices will be published Thursday, April 1, via Platts? Electricity Alert and Platts' dispatch, and in the April 5 issues of Megawatt Daily and Energy Trader. Prices based on Friday trading in markets outside of the West and ERCOT will be for weekend and Monday flow, and will be published via Platts' Electricity Alert on Monday, April 5 and in the April 6 issues of Megawatt Daily and Energy Trader.
