Platts proposes to reflect the Russian port of Ust-Luga in the Baltic Sea in its CIF Rotterdam Urals assessment with effect from April 16, 2012.
Platts currently reflects bids and offers for cargoes loading from Primorsk, Gdansk or Murmansk.
Russia has been loading tankers with crude at the Baltic port since March 23, marking the commissioning of the new Baltic Pipeline System-2 export route with a capacity of 30 million mt/year (600,000 b/d) of crude.
Please send comments by April 9 to europe_crude@platts.com and pricegroup@platts.com.
