Platts to change Brazilian sugar assessments from daily to weekly frequency

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will move a number of its Brazilian sugar assessments from a daily to weekly frequency, effective on June 1, 2023.

The change is due to persistent low liquidity in the Brazilian sugar intertrade spot market, and follows a proposal published March 13, available here:
