Asia LNG Platts Market on Close incrementability changes

For the Platts Market on Close assessment process, S&P Global Commodity Insights is changing the incrementability guidelines to allow bids and offers for Asia LNG physical to improve by up to 10 cents/MMBtu every 30 seconds, as opposed to the current 20 cents/MMBtu every 30 seconds.

The incrementability guidelines for Asia LNG derivatives will also change to allow for bids and offers to improve by up to 20 cents/MMBtu every 30 seconds, as opposed to the current 40 cents/MMBtu every 30 seconds.

These changes reflect the current volatility in the market due to European gas market price movements.

S&P Global reserves the right to change incrementability guidelines in the MOC process throughout the day depending on evolving market conditions.

These changes apply to the Platts JKM, WIM and MEM assessments, until further notice.
