SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes discontinuation of CIF ARA 90 day assessment

Based on a review of historical liquidity, S&P Global Platts is seeking feedback on a proposal to discontinue the CIF ARA 6,000 kcal/kg NAR 90 day assessment (CSABG00) from July 2018.

The price is published in Coal Trader International, on Global Coal Alert page 420 and in Market Data category- CI.

The following assessments would also be discontinued as a result:

CSEUA00 Thermal Coal CIF ARA 6000 kcal/kg NAR 90 Day Euro/mt CSABG03 Thermal Coal CIF ARA 6000 kcal/kg NAR 90 Day $/mt MAvg CSABG04 Thermal Coal CIF ARA 6000 kcal/kg NAR 90 Day $/mt QAvg

These prices are published on Global Coal Alert page 450 and in Market Data category- CI. Some associated symbols may also be affected.

Platts would no longer publish these assessments from July 9, 2018, with the last day of assessment on July 6, 2018.

Platts will continue to assess the CIF ARA 15-60 day price (CSARM01) on a daily basis.
