Platts restructures its North America M2M Power product and re-names it M2MS Power

Platts proposes to restructure and extend M2M Power product. The restructured product will be known as M2MS Power.

M2MS Power will divide the 48 power hubs covered by M2M Power into five regional packages (ERCOT, Northeast, PJM/MISO, Southeast, West).

A 6th package will also be available (identified as M2MS Power PFC+), packaging all the 20 power hubs covered by Platts-ICE Forward Curve Power (these hubs are also included in the five regional packages).

M2MS Power will:

- Extend the existing 36-month on-peak and off-peak forward curves to 120-month forward curves for each of the 48 hubs ? published daily;

- Continue to publish 240-month (20 year) forward curves at month end;

- Discontinue publication of spot prices (Spot data will continue to be published in Megawatt Daily;

- Add historical volatility curves for all 48 hubs ? 120-months published daily and 240-months published monthly.

Additional derived data curves will be available to subscribers to both M2MS Gas and M2MS Power: Spark spreads, Heat rates and historical correlations -- daily 120-month curves and monthly 240-month ones.

M2MS Power will commence publication on June 3rd, 2013.
