Platts to enhance MOC pages, suspend spillovers

Platts proposes to suspend Platts Global Alert pages 268, 257, and 293 with a tentative suspension date of May 1, 2012.

These pages are continuation pages for their associated Market On Close assessment process pages -- PGA page 3 for Europe and Asia crudes, page 300 for US crudes, and page 400 for US products respectively.

These pages are used by readers to review bids, offers and trades published during the Platts Market on Close assessment process for the European/Asian crudes as well as US crude & refined products.

At the same time, Platts proposes to enhance PGA pages 3, 300, and 400, adding more lines to allow for a fuller display of bids, offers, trades and trade summaries. For greater clarity, the MOC pages will display each event as it is published, but will no longer append previous events to the body text.

This will allow the reader to more clearly associate each published event with its relevant headline, and simplify viewing the text published on page 3, 300 and 400.
