Platts to express hourly US Renewable Penetration Indices as percentages

S&P Global Platts has decided to start expressing hourly wind and solar power Renewable Penetration Indices (RPI) in the US as percentages, effective May 17, 2021.

As part of the change, Platts will discontinue the existing RPI symbols, which are expressed as decimals, and will replace them with a new set of corresponding indices, expressed as percentages. The last publication day for the existing symbols will be May 16, 2021.
