Beginning May 2, 2022, S&P Global Commodity Insights will update some Platts Global Alert pages to remove non-databased converted global fuel oil values.
The changes affect real-time fixed pages for Platts Global Alert and Platts Refined Products Alert pages 30 and 38.
The pages list global fuel oil assessments that are assessed in a mix of barrels and metric tons. The page also shows the conversion rate and converts the assessments into either barrels or metric tons. The updates will remove converted prices, which appear only on the fixed page and are not databased.
The conversion rates will continue to be published on the fixed pages. Some prices, which are databased in both barrels and metric tons, will continue to have both prices listed on the page.
Please provide comments or feedback to oilgroup@spglobal.com and pricegroup@spglobal.com.
For written comments, please provide a clear indication if comments are not intended for publication by S&P Global for public viewing. S&P Global will consider all comments received and will make comments not marked as confidential available upon request.
